Environment description: Growing in deep shade about 4 meters above a stream; growing in association with Acer rubrum, Acer saccharum, Corylus americana, Hamamelis virginiana, Helenium autumnale, Solidago caesian and other herbacieou species.

Comment: Slope 10-15%, Aspect: SSE , Soil type moist, well drained laomy soils with high organic matter and rocky. Yellow fruit on a 1.5 m. multi-stemmed plant.
