Environment description: side of road near river; exposure 60% sun, slope 20%, aspect was SW facing, soil texture was gravel-black clay drainage medium
Comment: Open pollinated fruit collected from more than 20 plants Plants were abundant. The fruit were in the main season ripening here. This is further north than those that were collected previously.

The fruit were not collected by local people. Palatibility was 2 out of 5. Fruit was hard to collect, not easily removed from the plant. Sometimes honeybee hives are placed here in the summer to collect Rubus nectar.
