Environment description: Near glacier, 2% slope NE, sandy soil with few stones and good drainage.
Comment: Mosaic of festuca pallescens steepe and Nothofagus antarctica forest. Associated vegetation Berberis buxifolia, Adesmia boronioides, Mulinum spinosum, Poa, Stipa brevipes, Festuca pallescens, Sisyrinchium and Armeria.
