Environment description: Many plants growing scatered across an exposed granite outcrop, extremely dry, many of the plants (across taxa) wilted from severe drought this year. Unusual in finding this plant in such a severe site, ususlly a bottomland species.
Number of plants sampled: 5
Comment: Slope: 30-45 deg. Aspect: SW, full sun to dappled shade. Soil: very thin, gritty soil over granite. Plants 8-12 feet tall, dbh 2" or less. Leaves wilted from stress. Many plants with no fruit; a few with fair to good set.
