Locality: Ceders of Lebanon State Forest. 0.7 mile down State Forest road from the 'Pork'. Road edge on the right and 3 to 4 miles into a very large cedar glade. Wilson county.

Environment description: Cedar glade with typical vegetation. Pimarily growing through a mat of mosses. Some plants suffering from severe drought. Rhus aromatica, Rosa sp. and Rhamus caroliniana occasional to scattered.
Comment: Partly hermaphroditic-male. This species was more abundant on the left side of the road, in bare soil primarily, and all observed plants on this side were dead.
