Habitat: Wild Habitat
Environment description: Dry uplands, silty topsoil, shale underneath. Quercus alba, Pinus virginiana, Pespalum subsp., Potentilla canadensis, Andropogon sp., Plantogo sp., Ulmus sp., Acer rubra and Acer barbatum. Mosses, lichens and grasses.
Comment: Entire area mowed regularly. Fragaria virginiana occasional, usually associated with Potentilla canadensis in shade or partial shade. Fragaria leaves give the appearance of being evergreen.
