Narrative
Semidwarf winter rye with 20 to 25% shorter straw and improved lodging resistance compared to tall cultivars. Good winter survival and well adapted to the Canadian Prairies. Improved grain yield, test weight, kernel weight and Hagberg Falling Number comparable to those of the semidwarf cultivar AC Rifle. Plant height, heading, maturity and ergot infection similar to those of AC Rifle
