Narrative

Short statured, early maturing American Pima cotton that expresses the okra-leaf and nectariless traits. The okra-leaf trait confers earlier plant maturity and a partial resistance to silverleaf whitefly (Bemisia tabaci). The nectariless trait confers partial resistance to the pink bollworm (Pectinophora gossypiella). The fiber length of 35.6 mm, a strength of 33.8 g tex-1, and a micronaire of 3.7, when measured on single instruments. Produces 58% total yield 162 days after planting, or 20% more than its recurrent P62 parent.
