Narrative
Selected from a collection of 60 Elymus canadensis accessions assembled and evaluated at Kika de la Garza Plant Materials Center since October of 1986. All accessions collected were native to Texas. This accessions was selected as a superior strain for its vigorous vegetative growth, total biomass, pesistance, drought resistance, heat tolerance, and high seed production.
