Environment description: West side of mountain valley with areas along & adjacent to stream having very wet soils. Moisture appears to drain from forested uplands into the valley, forming wet areas subject to frost heaving. 1% slope with an east aspect.
Comment: Vegetation dominated by forbs (Vicia, Hedysarium, Allium, Iris). Areas with deeper soils with better drainage are very high yielding and are typically used ashay fields by local herders.
