Narrative
Plants were frequently abundant. Leggy shrub of 3-5 feet, scattered in forest. Pollen yellow (4 stamens, sessile filament), sepal length 3mm and sepal width 5mm, petioule (flower) approximately 25-30 mm in length, petioule (leaf) approximately 4-5 mm in length, leaves approximately 50-65 mm in length and approximately 22-35 mm in width (widest point). with interesting pseudoleaves present (opposite arrangement) approximately 3-4 mm from flower ranging in length from 3-4 mm in length and only 0.5 mm wide, length of pistil is essentially sessile. Initial observations seem to indicate absence of anthers/filaments and pistils on some flowers. These reproductive structures may persist for only a short period of time.
