Environment description: Open sunny site on embankment near road; associated with Rubus sp., Salix sp., Euonymus sp., Philadelphus sp., Populus sp., Betula sp., Cornus sp. and several herbaceous species. Well drained sandy, gravelly soil.
Comment: Multi-stemmed, deciduous shrub or small tree with upright habit. 3-5m high, 2.5-20cm diameter, bark gray. Leaves pinnately compound, foliage is turning bright red. Slope 15%, aspect NE.
