Environment description: West side of the Onon Gol Valley on the edge of a river-formed terrace. Old channels have tree and brush cover, and open areas are used as hayfields. Soil is rocky and gravelly. 1.5% slope with a southern aspect.
Comment: Sloughs contain marsh genera; old river channels are dominated by alder, Populus, and Larix.
