Environment description:
Hilly area in the valley of the Onon River with lowlands near the site used as hayfields. Soils are eroded granitic rock. 3% slope with a southern aspect.
Comment:
Forest steppe vegetation comprised of tall grasses and forbs dominating northern aspect with grass steppe dominating open southern exposures.
