Environment description: North bank of small, east-flowing stream with alluvial soils that are often disturbed by stream flooding. 1.5% slope with an eastern aspect.
Comment: Grasses, forbs (Heteropappus, Artemisia, Allium), and shrubs found along a typical stream zone with Salix trees. Forest steppe vegetation dominates higher elevations; S aspects dominated by grass steppe while forest dominates on N aspects.
