Narrative
Plant woody and shrubby, climbing, indeterminate vine, somewhat perennial on lower portions. Root a perennial, very large, thick, fleshy and woody. stems terete, stout, woody, 5-10 mm in diameter. Stipules rounded triangular, acute, apiculate, 2-3 mm long, nearly glabrous, with a honey exudate on inverse surface. Leaves 12-26 cm long, greenish to yellowish-white from dense pubescence. Seed nearly spherical to orbicular and slightly flattened, 5.9-10 mm long, 5-8 mm wide, 3-5.2 mm thick, speckled or streaked with black on light to dark tan, black ring around the hilum.
