Environment description: Hillside. Border of the woods. Soil texture sandy loam, dark color, much organic matter, drainage moderate. Slope 10 degrees, slope aspect south. Area threatened by clearing of the forest. Dominant plant species Cyathea spp. and Piper sp.
Comment: Associated plant species Sorocea bonplandii and Monettia sp. Closest meterological station at Itabo Reserve.
