Magnolia cordata x acuminata. Hybrids developed by Oliver M. Freeman, at the National Arboretum. 218231. Selection No. 1. Flowers large, yellow; plant about 4 feet high. 218232. Selection No. 2. Flowers large, yellow; plant about 10 feet high. 218233. Selection No. 3. Flowers large, yellow; plant about 14 feet high." Note: this would have been a seedling selection from NA 7719.
