Narrative
Type = Tetraploid. Flower = Hermaphrodite. In additon to the one plant, three cuttings were also received. Colchincine induced tetraploid of Sweet Blue, an American Hybrid labrusca type selection. Grown since about 1900 without spray - no diseases, no winter injury (in central Illinois). Juice and jelly superior to Concord in color and flavor. High sucrose.
