Locality: 8 km north Zhaosu Horse Breeding Farm, Xinjiang.
Coordinates: 43.2556, 81.1931 (Map it)
Elevation: 1950m.
Environment description: High mountain meadow, stoney loam soil with stones ranging in size from pea gravel to 5 cm diameter, native grassland, will be cut for winter hay. Slope is 15% with south aspect.
Comment: Other Species: Achnatherum splendens, Stipa capillata, Artemisia spp., Elymus sibiricus.
