Environment description: Growing on a N-NW facing slope in a moist woodland in association with Betula chinensis, Clematis sp., Abelia biflora, Corylus mandshurica, Populus davidiana, Syringa sp. and Lezpedeza sp.
Comment: Deciduous, multi-trunked tree 7-8 m tall, up to 14.6 cm DBH; pinnately compound leaves with 13 leaflets/leaf; fruit are typical of Sorbus sp. native to this area; fruit are light pink to whitish, but all fruit have some pinkish color.
