Environment description: Desert Steppe outwash plain. Actual collection site is an experiemntal area fenced off from the surrounding Gobi and irrigated. Slope of 0%, aspect flat.
Comment: Associated vegetation: Agricultural crops including corn, tomatoes, potatoes, cucumbers, watermelon. Native species: Setaria viridula, Zygophyllum, Artemisia, Tribulus terrestris.
