Locality: Amador County, 3 miles from Highway 88 on Oron Mountain Road, 25 miles southeast of town of Polloch Pines. Headwaters of the north fork of the Cosumnes River. El Doredo National Forest.

Narrative
Not herbaceous, growth habit very variable, flower color varies white to purple-pink. Abundant, scattered to mat-like populations. Township 9N, R16E, SW corner of Section 8. Very variable in location. Made an effort to sample the variability.
