Locality: Khovd Aimag, Altai Sum, near Yuench which is a border patrol station near the border with Xinjiang, China.

Environment description: 1% south slope. Along a river that waters the oasis of Yuench. Terrace along both sides of the river is alluvial with mixed alluvium and very gravelly, brown sandy soils.
