Locality: Gobi-Altai Aimag, Tsogt Sum, Bayantoorai Bag, along spings lacated 10 km north of the Bag center and 1 km from experimental farm.
Coordinates: 45.0003, 96.8186 (Map it)
Elevation: 1290m.
Environment description: 5% southwest slope. Desert steppe surrounding springs in an old erosion channel. Water is cold and clear. Soils are loamy brown sand over stratified sand and gravel.
