Locality: Gobi-Altai Aimag, Zakhuin Gobi about 100 km from farm experimental area near the headquarters of the Gobi A Ecological Reserve Area.
Coordinates: 44.8131, 97.3494 (Map it)
Elevation: 1320m.
Environment description: 5% south slope. Small oasis. Soils are sandy, coarse, gravelly alluvial soils. Surface armor of rocks and gravel on the desert surrounding the oasis while wet soils appear to be mostly coarse sandy soil high in salts.
Comment: Soils are solonchak soils.
