Locality: Gobi-Altai Aimag, Tsogt Sum, Eej Khairhan Mountain in the northern Gobi A Ecological Reserve Area bout 60 km from Bayantooroi Bag.
Coordinates: 44.9336, 96.2522 (Map it)
Elevation: 1320m.
Environment description: 0% to 60% southeast slope. Monolithic, weathered granodiorite mountain rising from the desert. Mountain is dissected by small streams with sandy substrates rubble side slopes.
Comment: Weathering action of streams has formed pockets in the granite that have the appearance of "kettles."
