Locality: Gobi-Alti Aimag, Tsogt Sum, near experimental farm associated with Bayantoorai Bag. Located about 200 km south of Altai City. Bayantoorai is also the deadquarters location of the Gobi A Ecological Reserve Area.
Coordinates: 44.8944, 96.8239 (Map it)
Elevation: 1200m.
Environment description: 0% slope. Desert Steppe outwash plain with limited soil development, just gravel and sand. Actual collection site is an experimental area fenced off from the surrounding Gobi and irragated.
