Locality: 9km southeast of Lepsinsk, 3km southwest of Lepsinsk Forestry Camp. Collected from site 15 area of 1995. Sampled area down the bank, along the river and up the bank on the other side.
Coordinates: 45.5192, 80.7156 (Map it)
Elevation: 1180m.
Environment description: Soil: Gravely loam, excellent drainage. N-S ridge, open. Dominant tree sp: Malus sieversii: Assoc-Populus, Crateagus. Dominant shrub sp: Rosa: Assoc-Rubus. Dominant herbaceous: Grasses; Assoc-Aster, Cirscium.
Comment: Thousands of trees, dense. Area size 3km x 2km. 80% fruiting. Fruit sample 30/8.

Sampled 8 fruits from 30 trees. Flesh flavor is acid. Scab is heavy. Same as site 15 in 1995. Excellent fruiting in 1996.
