Environment description: Growing on south facing slope of large granitic boulders. Plants in habitat: gooseberry, Epildoium, thimbleberry, Douglas fir. This raspberry competes very well in this boulder field.
Comment: Collected N.E. shore of Cub Lake, Chelan county, Washington Seeds of open pollinated R. idaeus from 25 plus plants in a population of several hundred plants.
