Locality: Childs Glacier viewpoint, turnoff from Copper River Road just before the "Million Dollar Bridge" about 35 miles to the east of Cordova.

Habitat: Wild Habitat
Environment description: In open woods, growing in glacial silt-gravel.
Comment: collected near the viewpoint for the Childs Glacier turnoff from the Copper River Road Fruits for the most part were later ripening at this sight than at other sites near Cordova. Perhaps this site is colder.
