Locality: Woods and road interface on the left (headed north) on U.S. 521, 1.8 miles north of the Lancaster county line (headed toward Kershaw) and at Hanging Rock Creek.

Environment description: Growing in dense shade, with proportionally large leaves and petioles. Appears to be fertile soil, very dry at present.
Comment: One colony found. Inspite of plant vigor, at this time it does not appear to be a hybrid or escape from cultivation.
