Comment: Obtained from farmer. This var. grown here >50 yrs. Planted Aug'will harvest Nov. Usually plant in Feb. Having trouble with leaf cutter ants. Medium sample. Probably 'criollo' type. Eaten in sauces and soups w/Capsicum.

Narrative
Seeds purple, many with tan tips, size small to medium. Pods strongly reticulated, beak slight, 1-4 seeds per pod. Stems, petioles, leaf midveins and margins pubescent. Plants very young, can't confirm pubescence on leaf undersides.
