Locality: Ca. 0.5 km on old strip road off Sinamatella Camp Rd. between Bulawayo and Victoria Falls, near Hwange. 18 22'S, 26 33'E. Elevation 700 m.
Environment description: Small shrubby trees to 3 m; growing on banks of dry stream bed with Combretum psidiodes, Acacia ataxacantha, Triplochiton zambesiacus, Entada chrysostachys (AEW 050).
