Environment description: Grass steppe (disturbed marsh land). Soils very gravelly.
Comment: Old river channels present filled with water from summer rain and used by numerous waterfowl. Dominant vegetation: Achnatherum splendens, Leymus chinensis, Cleistogenes squarrosa.
