Environment description: Site generally very exposed to elements, R. ursinus tended to be found in protected nooks in cliff or in areas protected by shrubs at the base of the cliff. Associated with Pseudotsuga menziesii and Alnus sp.
Comment: Some plants were growing out of soil at base of cliff, some were part way up cliffs. Fruit and cuttings (other half of this site taken at Dungeness).
