Surface wax coating on the leaf blade apears to be reduced (wax code ++ ++ +). Concerning the chemical epicuticular wax composition, a new form of wax crystals, lobe shaped bodies, was observed in the leaf blade. The amount of wax per unit surface area is reduced, but the wax class distribution is the same as in the wild type. Inheritance: Monofactorial recessive. Location is unknown.
