Environment description: Growing in dry understory on the north side of a slope with Lezpedexa bicolor, Quercus sp., Fraxinus sp. and Spiraea sp.
Comment: Multi-stemmed shrub as wide as it is tall with a layered stiff growth habit from 1.5 to 2.0 meters tall; leaves 2.5 to 3cm long and 1.0 cm wide; green with prominent glandular dots; foliage is arranged in whorls at the ends of the branches.
