Environment description: Growing in seasonally very moist meadow in a depression on the north side of shrubs in partial shade; in association with Lilium pumilum, Echinops latifolius, Syringa patula, Abelia biflora, Iris lactea var. chinensis and grasses.
Comment: Deciduous, herbaceous perennial with large basal leaves; plant with flower stalk to 1.5 meters tall; large cordate leaves with prominent dentations and long petioles.
