Environment description: Growing in part shade to full sun on a northwest facing slope below the path on a steep embankment; soils are moist and loamy.
Comment: Deciduous, upright, multi-stemmed shrub with grayish-brown to brown stems, 2 to 3 meters tall; fruit are oblong 1.0 to 1.2 cm long and 0.5 cm wide; fruit red changing to black.
