Environment description: Growing in a highly disturbed habitat in full sun next to a field of cultivated carrots on a dry slope; in association with Schisandra chinensis, Rubus sp., Lezpedeza bicolor, Syringa sp. and numerous herbaceous plants.

Comment: Deciduous, single-stemmed tree with a double leader formed one meter above the ground; tree had a pyramidal shape, 6 to 7 meters tall; 20 cm DBH.
