Narrative
To be named Phillips Highbush Cranberry, plant called to Meader's attention by Harry Phillips, Rochester, N.H. (died 4/15/58). Plants survived 1961 freeze at New Mexico, Quinones, NM. One of 2 plants flowered and produced good size fruit, both plants thrifty- sprayed once with melathione because of minor insect injury. Growing well in partially shaded spot.
