Environment description: Roadside in understory along slopes of Parson's Mtn. Extensive colonies of V. pallidum. Only occasional genotypes were productive of fruit. One clone w/ fairly large fruit covered 2000 sq. ft.
Comment: Popl. sample of fruit (strategy was to collect what was available, since most colonies had little or none).
