Environment description: At bottom of S-facing rocky hillside at edge of woods among loose rocks, disturbed area.
Comment: Multi-stemmed suckering decid. shrub ca 2m tall forming dense thicket, branches arching, stems smooth gray-brown; lvs dull med. green above, lustrous beneath, frt. glossy yellow-green to orange, juicy, variable in size to 10mm long, 8mm dm.
