Narrative
In 1998-99 this accession was grown in a greenhouse in Ames, Iowa. Plants perennial, and erect. Flowers, in a raceme, were purple with white wings, legumes bear two black seeds on opposite sides of a constricted seam. Observed by David M. Brenner, North Central Regional Plant Introduction Station. Genus could not be determined by Dr. Ernest Small in Ottawa, Canada (Nov 1999).
