Locality: Range of low mountains along Herlen River, 100 km west of Choibalsan.
Coordinates: 47.8994, 113.7403 (Map it)
Elevation: 680m.
Environment description: Mountain-grass steppe. Mountains contain many rock outcrops. Soils are thin with many rock cobbles present. Aspect southwest with a slope of 5%.
Comment: Site No: E94-38. Dominant vegetation: Stipa capillata, Leymus chinensis.
