Locality: On and surrounding Tariat Research Station near Herlen River, Hentii Aimag. Collection sites on grass steppe uplands above river flood plain.
Coordinates: 47.2000, 108.6775 (Map it)
Elevation: 1448m.
Environment description: Grass steppe. Soils shallow, gravelly, and low fertility.
Comment: Previously large areas plowed in attempt to grow cereals. Most of plowed land abandoned to weeds. Dominant vegetation: Agropyron cristatum, Stipa capillata, Stipa sibirica, Amygdalus pedunculata, Cleistogenes squarrosa.
