Differs from other accessions in its expectional vigor and abundant foliage. CSC Method of Selection: Selection by comparative evaluation, from an assembly of 69 accessions collected in 1981 and 1982 from the midwest and northeast US, on the basis of vigor, survival, size, foliage and genetic purity. CSC Anticipated Conservation Use: To be used in field windbreaks under center pivot irrigation and on non-irrigated cropland consisting of wet or organic soils. 2/13/89.
