Locality: Long Shang Cun (Village), Baxian Province Grade Forest Station, Pingli County, Ankang District.
Coordinates: 32.0403, 109.3078 (Map it)
Elevation: 1670m.
Environment description: On west facing steep embarkment below a home; this is a single lone speciman growing in association with Dipteronia sinensis, Cercidiphyllum japonicum, Diospyros lotus, Acer sp. and other woody and herbaceous sps.

Narrative
Single-stemmed deciduous tree with an upright vase-shaped habit; branchlets spreading and slightly drooping on mature branches; trunck branches into four leaders at about 6 meters above the ground; tree is 29 meters tall!!!; 81.4cm diameter, 3 meters above the ground; we believe this is one of the largest paperback maples ever recorded.
