Environment description: mountainside, steep slope, west, dense secondary shrubs
Comment: Collected from a shrub to 2.5m with a single dull red berry in the axil of each leaf, growing with cultivated Pinus armandii above the second temple on a steep west facing mountainside of dense secondary shrubs on broken granite above Kanding on Paoma Shan., Herbarium specimen collected.
